Nartina LeMaliki
Name: Nartina LeMaliki
Nickname(s): Nari, Nar, Tina
Age: 450 years old
Story: Doesn't have a title yet.
Gender: Female
Race: Sylvan Elf (Shape Shifter)
Species: Fae
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 95lbs.
Mate: Lenniel Lilin
Family:
Nari is always willing to lend a shoulder for her friends to cry on. She often times says that she has one reserved for the people she cares about. Because of her own history, she treasures every person she meets, and treats them with great respect and dignity.
Nari holds herself with dignity and pride. Appearances mean nothing to her-so long as it isn't her own. She prefers to be neatly dressed at all times. You shouldn't let this small elf fool you, though. Behind that kind disposition is a wicked temper and willingness to defend any and all of her family, friends, and acquaintances. She hates to see others being treated poorly because of their race, sexual orientation, or background.
It should be noted that Nartina has a split personality within herself: Shavori. Often times when she is under great stress, ill, or needs an extra push in battle, she will give control of her own mind, body, and soul, to this separate entity within herself. When she does so, her appearance and demeanor completely flip.
General Appearance:
Weapons: Nartina carries a long, curved Jintachi with an ornate handle and blade. In the blade are runes, and carved into the metal itself is a dragon. The blade is not made of iron, however. Touching Iron causes her skin to blister. Her blade is made up of an aluminum/titanium alloy that does not rust or break.
She also carries around a titanium and poison tipped whip. The poison on the ends of the tips only affects flesh, and so, will not harm trees, or other types of plants. This is because she uses this whip for movement more so than as a weapon. It is most affective in wooded areas, or places with lots of holdings that she can wrap the tail of the whip around.
Nari, being of the mind that one should never leave the house unprotected, always has a knife or dagger hidden somewhere on her person. Sometimes it is a decoration in her hair, a piece of jewelry, or something more simple and practical hidden in her sleeves, belt, or boots.
History: When she was 250 years old, Nartina's family and entire village was pillaged and destroyed in front of her very eyes. It was through her abilities as a shapeshifter that she was able to transform into a fox and hide until the ambush was over. She was the sole survivor. It was later that evening, during her shock, that her cousin, Hamlin-who had suspected something was wrong-found her, and brought her to his home in the sister village to her own. There, his family performed the proper rights her Nartina's village, and laid the bodies to rest, promising they would be forever remembered and revered. The pain and memory of her family that Hamlin's village brought, however, did not help to ease Nartina's worries and, fearing that the humans who destroyed her town would hunt her down, Nartina fled east.
It was on her travels that Nartina created a separate identity within herself. She did not stay on one place for very long, for fear that people would notice her lack of human traits and behavior, and she continued to run east until she came to Arabia.
Thinking that she was a Djinn Demon-said to grand wishes to anyone that could capture them-a powerful sheik capture Nartina, and embedded a jewel into her forehead. The Jewel was powerful at first, however, as he aged, that power weakened. While in his service, Nartina was forced to grant any wish the Sheik had, and do anything he told her to do, whether it was sex, or murder, or mundane things like cooking and cleaning. On the Sheik's 50th birthday, however, he was murdered, and Nartina was once again free.
It was then that she made her way farther east, until she landed, tired, hungry, and quite ill, in an orchard just outside of a Shinto shrine. There, she collapsed, where a demon by the name of Lenniel-who resided at said shrine-found her, nursed her back to health, and kept her hidden until she was strong enough to be on her way once more.
It is not clear how long she was gone before she decided to go back and pay him a visit to thank him for what he'd done, but when she finally returned, the Shrine was in ruins, and Lenniel was nowhere to be found. So she searched for him, for centuries, checking every corner of the earth, until she found him once more, bound, and beaten. He wasn't himself, that much was clear in the drugged look on his face, and the sluggish manner in which he moved, and Nartina took it upon herself to free him from his turmoil; she killed his master, using her sword to cut his head from his neck, and watched as the demon ran off into the horizon.
Sometime later, Nartina and Lenniel met once more, and it did not take much for them to become very good friends, and later, lovers.
Miscellaneous Information: Nartina is my oldest character. I have been talking about her, drawing her, and writing stories for her since she was 12 years old. It was only recently that her story was refined to what it is now. It may be noted that one of Nartina's nicknames, Nari, has become my online handle.
Lenniel is not my own character, rather, he is my girlfriend's character, so all rights to him belong to her.

General Appearance:
- Hair: Nartina's hair is knee-length, thick, straight and raven black. Most of the time she wears it back in a high pony tail, or in a tight bun, though there are a few occasions where she will wear it down or in a loose French braid down her back. She parts her bangs-which are also rather long-to the right so that her right eye may be covered. Rarely is she seen with her bangs pulled back.
- Facial Features: Nari's eyes are a clear sapphire blue. She has long, thick, black lashes that sweep her cheeks when her eyes close. Her pupils are much akin to a cat's pupils in that in their contracted form, they are slit. She is blind in her right eye due to an injury that happened when she was a child, and there is a long, thin, scar that runs from just above her right brow to the middle of her cheek. Below those entrancing eyes is a delicate nose with small nostrils. Her lips are full and rose pink. When she smiles, they part to show straight, white teeth. Her canines are sharper and longer than normal, due to the fact that in certain forms she takes, she consumes meet, most of the time raw. Her ears are long and tapered. Nartina has a small jewel embedded in her forehead that changes from blue to purple to red depending on her mood. When she is herself it is a clear crystal blue, the closer she gets to becoming Shavori, the closer to the vibrant red it becomes.
- Body Structure: Nari's elven/main body is lithe and athletic. She is built for stealth and speed more for strength. She has an hourglass shape with long, muscular legs that taper off to small feet. Her hands are also small, easy for making deft movements.
- Tattoos: Nartina has one tattoo on her left shoulder blade of a moon being shot through with an arrow and held by prayer beads that in tern hold a dragon pendant. This is her family crest.
- Piercings: Both of her ears are pierced twice in each lobe. She often times can be seen wearing simple studs, hoops, or small dangly ornaments. None of her earrings are made of iron, or contain any iron in them, so usually they are silver or wood. She does not like gold.
- Clothing: Nari can be seen wearing anything from modern western punk to medieval garb. She tends to wear simple clothing that allow for easy movement. She is most commonly seen, however, in a long-bell-sleeved tunic with a belt at the waist, a pair of simple black slacks, and soft shoes (shoes with a soft sole. The allow for silent movement). On her neck she always has a V-dip collar. The color and design on the collar, however, vary depending on the clothing she wears. When she fights, her clothes are skin-tight, and move with her body. When she is relaxing, her clothes are loose, and flowing. Nari prefers to wear pants to skirts/dresses.
